Delaviuda Confectionery Group donates equipment to the Virgen de la Salud Hospital Complex in Toledo

Madrid, 24th mars, 2020.- Given the urgent need of Health Centres for material to protect health professionals, Delaviuda Confectionery Group, a company dedicated to the nougat, snacks and confectionery sector, has donated more than 140,000 units to the Toledo Hospital Complex Virgen de la Salud, to combat the effects of the pandemic caused by the COVID-19 virus.  Specifically, the company has donated 6,700 gowns, 36,000 tights and 98,000 caps with disposable masks that are used daily by its professionals in the production chain and processes.  In this way, Delaviuda CG keeps a minimum stock for its needs that it will replace once the sanitary emergency is over.  The shipment involves a total of 10 pallets and left this morning from their factory in Sonseca (Toledo) so that it will be received by the health workers at the Virgen de la Salud Hospital Complex in the coming days.  In this way, the Delaviuda Group joins all those institutions, organizations, companies and individuals who are collaborating with the health authorities and helping to combat the pandemic.  Volver a intranet
